Studies show that It is very important that you perform the general warm-up before you stretch. It is not a good idea to attempt to stretch before your muscles  are warm (something which the general warm-up accomplishes). Warming up can do more than just loosen stiff muscles; when done properly, it can actually improve performance.

Cardio Workout

Is any exercise that raises your heart rate. Your heart is a muscle, therefore working it makes it stronger. A stronger cardio-vascular system means more capillaries delivering more oxygen to cells in your muscles. This enables your cells to burn more fat during both exercise and inactivity.

Weight Training

Is a strength training for developing the strength and size of skeletal muscles. It utilizes the force of gravity in the form of weighted bars, dumbbells or weight stacks in order to oppose the force generated by muscle through concentric or eccentric contraction.

Goal Setting

Is the process of identifying something that you want to accomplish and establishing measurable goals and time frames. When you decide on a financial change to save more money and then set a certain amount to save each month, this is an example of goal setting.

Agility Training

 Refers to the ability to start, stop, and change direction quickly while maintaining proper posture. Incorporating exercises such as cone drills and/or ladder drills in which the exerciser has to complete different movement patterns or foot patterns as fast as possible.

Meal Planning

Is any strategy used to map out what you’re going to eat. This term may refer to following a specific diet, or it may just indicate the process of thinking through what you plan to eat beforehand. This is also knowing how much of and when to eat certain foods to reach a goal.

Adequate Rest

Exercise depletes your muscles’ glycogen levels; without replacement, you’ll experience muscle fatigue and soreness. Plus, this occurs even when you’re not working out. By getting appropriate rest, you’ll prevent fatigue by letting your glycogen levels refill.

Stretching the muscles are great, but generally only after the Warm up phase is complete.
